Paint code example/s: Modern Porsche vehicles have adopted a similar paint code format and location as rest of the VAG members. Often sharing the same colours and codes as Volkswagen, Audi, Seat & Skoda. For example, code "C9X" is shared with all the brands, albeit under different names. Porsche codes can be 3 or 4 numbers, or more frequently nowadays, a letter, followed by 2 numbers. For example, Porsche "S9R" is "Carrara White".

Here are some example/s:

This Porsche code was located within the Service Manual. "M7R" is the code for the vehicle.

Like other VAG cars, some Porsche paint codes begin with and "L", such as above, reading "LR7H".

Top Tip: Check your Service manual or Drivers Manual/Handbook for a sticker with the paint information on it.

Still Need Help?: You can ring up your local car dealership and ask for "Parts Department" to obtain your vehicle paint code. They can check their database using your current car registration.
