Paint code example/s: Mercedes have kept a very consistent structure to their paint code system, making the information easily obtainable. Mercedes paint codes usually consist of 3 numbers, such as "197" "Obsidian Black". However, Some older models and vans may be 4 numbers. Most modern Mercedes have their paint code located on a sticker within the driver or passenger door shut.

In this example the paint code is "167A" "Rosso Miro"


In this example the paint code is "992"

Top Tip: Look around the door shut for a black sticker, usually a code is below where it says "Mercedes-Benz".

Still Need Help?: You can ring up your local car dealership and ask for "Parts Department" to obtain your vehicle paint code. They can check their database using your current car registration.
