BMW

Primary Location: Door shut/jam (newer models)
Secondary Location: Under Bonnet (older models)

Paint code example/s: BMW have always remained consistent with their colour codes and locations. Older examples were usually 3 numbers such as "475", or a letter followed by 2 numbers such as "A98". More modern BMW examples have a mixture of the 2 layouts. BMW have also kept some of the many paint codes and colours for many years, up until the present day.

Some Example/s below:

In this example the paint code is "B39" - found within the door shut.

In this example the paint code is "C36" - found within the door shut.

Top Tip: Often found on a black plate/plaque.

Still Need Help?: You can ring up your local car dealership and ask for "Parts Department", to obtain your vehicle paint code. They can check their database using your current car registration.
